See the rest of this week’s deals for Walgreens at Hip2Save.

My trip to Rite Aid was a little disappointing today. Come on, Rite Aid, bring on the good deals! I still have my Gift of Savings to spend, along with $40ish in UPR from the Darice crafts deal last week. Anyway, here is my meager haul for today:

Two Wet Ones ($1.99 each)
Two Excedrin Extra Strength ($4.50? I have a 10% off discount and don’t have my receipt on me since I mailed it in for my rebate, so I can’t remember!)
One Renpure Organics ($6.99 but $6.29 after my 10% off)

I used:
2x $1/1 Wet Ones from Walmart’s website
2x Free Excedrin PM (delivered via snail mail when I signed up for it a few weeks ago)

So total was $8.27. I got two $1 Wet Ones UPRs and I’m getting a $6.99 rebate because the Renpure had a freebate hangtag on it. Total profit: $0.72. Not much, but I’ll take it! :) Rite Aid deals are coming shortly.

Oh, almost forgot, I got the Petrotech at the local natural pet store, Nature’s Pet, on clearance for $3, with a $5 rebate hangtag on it! So $2 profit there.

Holy smokes, fantastic trip to Walgreens this week. Who’d have thought! I normally avoid Walgreens at all costs, but somehow I see a few more visits there in my future this week. I did quite a few transactions and got:

Four Biore steam-activated cleansers ($4.19 each on clearance)
One Dickinson’s Witch Hazel ($4.49)
One PillGlide spray ($5)
Three Omega-3 pills ($10 each)
Two Reservatrol Max Dots ($10 each)
Two Finesse Clean + Simple ($1.99 each)
Two Children’s Oscillococcinum ($8.99 each)
Two Breathe Right Nasal Strips ($5 each)
Two Salonpas Arthritis patches ($6 each)
Three Papermate Mechanical Pencils ($0.19 each)

$120.59

I used :
4x $2/1 Biore Cleanser (10/10 SS)
2x $2/1 Oscillococcinum (printable)
2x $10/1 Reservatrol (Walgreens January coupon book)
2x Free Breathe Right (printed when I bought the Oscillococcinum, I think?)

$78.59 after coupons

I got back:
$5 Biore RR
$5 Biore RR
$5 PillGlide RR
$10 Omega-3 RR
$10 Omega-3 RR
$10 Omega-3 RR
$8 Oscillo RR
$8 Oscillo RR
$6 Salonpas RR
$6 Salonpas RR

and did two Finesse $1.99 rebates (one was bought by my mum and sent to her address) and a rebate for the witch hazel, making it free.

Total: $2.88 PROFIT!

I am a happy camper. :) Walgreens deals will be posted tonight.

Oooh, good trip to Walgreens just now.

I got:
4x Vicks Sinex $5 each
2x Olay body bar two-pack $3.29 on BOGO 50% off

Total $24.94

Used 4x $4/1 Vicks Sinex from the 12/26 P&G insert and 2x $2/1 Olay bar from 12/26 P&G insert.

Paid $4.94 out of pocket and received a $10 RR. Total profit $5.06! And remember, you can use your Walgreens RR at Safeway since they’re manufacturer coupons. This is awesome for me because I only do Walgreens every couple of weeks, but I’m always at Safeway.

Check out the full Rite Aid ad at I Heart Rite Aid.

Sorry for not having any posts over the weekend! The Christmas party/birthday combo kept me so busy. As such, I’m not going to bother writing out all of the weekly deals for Rite Aid and Walgreens, but will just link you to For the Mommas‘ weekly deals for Rite Aid and to My Frugal Adventures for Walgreens for this week.

Just a reminder, there are no coupon inserts in this Sunday’s paper.  Save yourself $2 (at least!) and don’t bother buying a paper this week.

Today’s trips were okay, but nothing to write home about.  Rite Aid was of course out of stock of most of the stuff I wanted, including more EcoTools, the Disney puzzles and figurines and some more Colgate toothpaste.

I did get three Advil Congestion Reliefs, two (one isn’t shown) Gillette razors, two Wonderful Pistachios and I had enough profit left over to get my daughter a little puppy dog, which she hasn’t put down since we got home.  After the dog I still had $1.xx profit, woohoo.

Walgreens was okay, but mostly just because I had to spend my Super Jingle Cash this week and I sort of just tossed together a scenario.

12 Snickers bars

2 Blue Diamond Almonds

2 Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel (ha, banana and grey were the only colours left!)

1 Goody hair ties

1 Activ-On Joint and Muscle

1 Walgreens Energy Booster

2 Christmas cups

2 Sets of two Toy Story and princess paintable figurines

For total cost of $7.  I was going to buy the almonds anyway, and there weren’t any huge moneymakers this week.  Not bad though!

Both Wags and Rite Aid are having four-day sales starting tomorrow. I highlighted the best deals earlier in the week, but here are a couple of scenarios you could work around.

My Rite Aid Scenario for 12/15

3 Disney Figurines, $0.99, on sale for 25% off.
3 Disney Puzzles, $0.99, on sale for 25% off.
2 Wonderful Pistachios, 2/$5.
2 Frosted MiniWheats, 2/$5
2 Ecotools, $2.99, on sale for BOGO 50% off.
2 Colgate Sensitive, $3.50
2 Rite Aid brand tape, $1.49, on BOGO.
1 Advil Congestion Relief 10 ct, $4.99.
1 Gillette Fusion Manual or Power Razor, $9.49.

Total $41.89

Use 2x $1/1 Wonderful Pistachios from 11/21 SS or $1/1 printable
Use 2x $1.50/1 Frosted MiniWheats printable (no longer available, unfortunately)
Use $2/1 Advil printable coupon
Use $1/1 Advil Video Values coupon
Use 1x $4/1 Gillette Razor

$31.89 oop

And get back:
6x $2 UPR for Disney toys
1x $1 UPR for Pistachios
1x $2 UPR for MiniWheats
1x $5 UPR for Ecotools
2x $3.50 UPR for Colgate
2x $1 UPR for tape
1x $3 UPR for Advil
1x $5 UPR for Gillette

Total profit $4.11

Of course, this is just the deal that I’m doing tomorrow based on my coupons. If you don’t have the MiniWheats coupon or still have the $0.75/1 Colgate coupon or have the Air Wick candle coupons, there are many different deals to be had.

Now, for Walgreens I have 3 of the $5 Super Jingle Cash from last week. I normally don’t mind having extra RR because I can just use them at Safeway as MQs, but the Super Jingle Cash are actually store coupons. They also state only one can be redeemed per transaction, so I need to have three separate transactions to burn through these before Sunday.

My Walgreens Scenario for 12/15

Transaction 1:
1 Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel, $5.99
3 Mars Candy, $1.17
1 Christmas Tumbler, $0.12

$7.28 total.

Use $1/1 Revlon from Bright and Beautiful Guide (available at Cosmetics)
Use $2/3 Mars from 12/5 RP
Use $5 Super Jingle Cash

Pay $0.12 oop

Get back $5 Revlon RR

Transaction 2:
1 Activ-On Joint and Muscle, $7.99
1 Walgreens Energy Booster, $3

$10.99 total

Use $5 Revlon RR
Use $5 Super Jingle Cash

Pay $0.99 oop

Get back $8 Activ-On RR
Get back $3 Energy RR

Transaction 3:
1 Coffee-Mate, $1.50
1 Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel, $5.99
1 Goody Hair Ties, $2
3 Mars Candy, $1.17
2 Toys on BOGO, $6.99
1 Scotch Mailer, $0.39
2 Blue Diamond Almonds, 2/$4

$22.04 total

Use $1/1 Coffee-Mate printable (Like them on Facebook)
Use $1/1 Revlon from Bright and Beautiful Guide
Use $2/3 Mars from 12/5 RP
Use $0.60/2 Blue Diamond Almonds
Use $5 Super Jingle Cash
Use $8 Activ-On RR
USe $3 Energy RR

Pay $1.44 oop

Get back $5 Revlon RR
Get back $2 Goody RR

So, total cost for Walgreens will be $9.44, but only $2.55 out of pocket.

If there’s a Safeway delivery service in your area, this is absolutely a deal worth checking out.  Go to Safeway.com and click on the “Free Delivery” ad on the right-hand side.  Create your account and then click “Online Savings” on the top menu bar to take a look at the Buy One Get One Free deals they have going on right now.   Add whatever you’d like to your cart (remember to do in multiples of 2 to take advantage of the BOGO deal) until you hit at least $50.  My Safeway has some great deals, like BOGO bacon and sausage.  Once you get $50 of groceries, use the code SHARE15, which will take off $15 from your purchase price and give you free delivery.  $50 of groceries -$25 for BOGO, -$15 promo code = $10 for $50 of groceries delivered to your door!

I just placed an order of:
1 Tillamook Monterey Jack Cheese 32 oz ($3.99, an awesome price!)
2 Tillamook Medium Cheddar 32 oz ($3.99 each, not on BOGO)
1 Aidell’s Chicken and Apple Sausage ($6.59)
2 Hillshire Farm Polska Kielbasa ($4.99 each)
2 Jimmy Dean All Natural Sausage 16 oz ($5.19 each)
2 Progresso Natural Beef Broth 32 oz ($3.59 each)
2 Progresso Natural Chicken Broth 32 oz ($3.59 each)

For a final total of $20.92, off the original price of $53.28! That’s basically $1.74 per item.

Remember that your available BOGO deals will vary based on your local store and also when you place your order. Last week there were deals on ground beef, pork shoulder and even dungeoness crab.

So, I wasn’t planning on going to Rite Aid again until the four-day ad started, but I saw that there was a good deal on free tape, and I had just run out. Who doesn’t need more tape at Christmastime?

5 Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste 6 oz ($3.50)
2 Ecotools bath tools ($2.99 and $3.99 because the $1.99 were out of stock)
10 Rite Aid brand invisible tape ($1.49 on BOGO)
2 Rite Aid brand envelopes ($2.29 on BOGO)

Total was $32.72.

I used 3 $0.75 off any Colgate from the 12/5 SS, and I got:

5x $3.50 UPR for Colgate
1x $5 UPR for buying two Ecotools
10x $1 UPR for buying tapes (Yes, the tape costs $0.75 and gives you $1 back!)
2x $1 UPR for buying envelopes

Total profit: $1.78.

This deal is great because you don’t even need coupons for it, and there’s no limit on the amount of UPR you can earn.

Also, my receipt today was a full 7 feet long! I measured it.
